| Wow! is pretty much the only word to sum up the spherovelo. From the moment we opened the box we could tell it was a great quality product. It looks so sleek and shiny that I was looking for an apple logo on it. It looks like some sort of alien creature – and we will definately be customising ours with some eye stickers. We chose the blue version – eventually – Babipur kindly let us change from white then to red then to blue when we found out they had received the blue version. The red one would make a fantastic little ladybird design. It is actually quite a compact little toy – and will find a space in any sized house – ours is a 2 bed terrace but our daughter has already turned it into a racetrack. She is a small 2 1/2 year old (wears 12-18 month clothes) and fits it perfectly, and manages to pick up a good bit of speed. We are currently mastering it with the stabilisers on, but I don’t think we will need those for long as the tipping motion of the spheres allow enough time to react and rebalance. The front sphere rotates on an axle forward and back, while the rear sphere is free flowing – which makes for good drifting opportunities. If anyone is considering one of these I would not hesitate to recommend it! The only bad point is that Early Rider do not make an adult version!..
